The role includes: (1) providing assistance in the execution of financial statement and property audit readiness activities as prescribed by FMO; (2) helping ensure components serviced understand the overall audit readiness strategy employed by the DON; (3) reporting results of FIAR activities to leadership and FMO FIAR program management.


Tasks can include:
Financial statement segment process documentation, internal control testing, substantive testing, assistance with corrective action development and implementation, assistance with assertions of assessable units, and reporting.
General equipment process documentation, internal control testing, substantive testing, assistance with corrective action development and implementation, assistance with assertions of assessable units, and reporting.

Requirements:
TS/SCI clearance required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting or budgeting experience
Minimum 5 years experience with government accounting, financial statement audits, and internal controls
